Payment Policy. Payment is due in full at the time of registration and includes refreshments and detailed conference materials. Your registration will not be confirmed until payment is received and may be subject to cancellation. Admission to the conference will be refused if payment has not been received.
Cancellation, Postponement and Substitution Policy. You may substitute delegates at any time by providing reasonable advance notice to Die Neues Sammlung. For any cancellations received in writing not less than fourteen (14) days prior to the conference, you will receive a 50% refund on the fee and 50% refund of the evening reception.No refund will be issued for any cancellations occurring within thirteen (13) days (inclusive) of the conference. In the event that Die Neue Sammlung cancels the conference for any reason, you will receive a credit for 100% of the conference fee paid. In the event that Die Neue Sammlung postpones the conference for any reason and the delegate is unable or unwilling to attend in on the rescheduled date, you will receive a credit for 100% of the conference fee paid. Except as specified above, no credits will be issued for cancellations. There are no refunds given under any circumstances.
Die Neue Sammlung is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of a substitution, alteration or cancellation/postponement of an event. Die Neue Sammlung shall assume no liability whatsoever in the event this conference is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed due to causes beyond its control including without limitation, acts of God, natural disasters, sabotage, accident, trade or industrial disputes, terrorism, or hostilities fortuitous event or any other event that renders performance of this conference impracticable, illegal or impossible. Please note that while speakers and topics were confirmed at the time of publishing, circumstances beyond the control of the organizers may necessitate substitutions, alterations or cancellations of the speakers and/or topics. As such, Die Neue Sammlung reserves the right to alter or modify the advertised speakers and/or topics if necessary without any liability to you whatsoever. Any substitutions or alterations will be updated on our web page as soon as possible.
Discounts. All ‚Early Bird‘ discounts must require payment at time of registration and before the cut-off date in order to receive any discount. Any discounts offered must also require payment at the time of registration.
All discount offers cannot be combined with any other offer. Advice for copyright protection and disclaimer
During the conference illegal copying, viz. copying of (digital) documents without the permission of the owner, is not allowed. All participants are requested to comply with this rule. Each contributor of a poster is requested to remove the presentation from the laptop. It is advised that any exchange of data etc. should agree by the owner of the document. The Future Talks conference organisation does not intermediate.
Disclaimer. The Future Talks conference organisation does not take any responsibility for information, data, figures etc. originating from your presentation being disseminated.
Personal Information. Please not that all participant contact details will be kept on the Die Neue Sammlung database, which will only be used by the museum. Unless the Registartion Office has received an explicit request from registrant disallowing to share his/her contact information (Through the Registartion form), a list of all attendees, their affiliation institution and e-mail addresses will be included in the conference map.
The e-mail addresses will also be used to circulate last minute details and announcements of future-events.
If you would like your record to be deleted after the conference, please notify Die Neue Sammlung by e-mail.
By participating to the FUTURE TALKS conference you agree that Die Neue Sammlung may use all kind of recorded media (photo, film) taken at the conference for advertising this event and for use in the publication .If you don’t like that photos or videos, showing you at the conference, are used for advertising the FUTURE TALKS conference or the publication, please notify Die Neue Sammlung by e-mail.
Personal Property. Die Neue Sammlung accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property.
