Sasha Drosdick is the Andrew W. Mellon Fellow in Objects Conservation at the Brooklyn Museum. Sasha has a Master of Science from University College London’s Conservation Studies program in Qatar, Doha. Before working at the Brooklyn Museum, Sasha interned in the sculpture conservation departments of the Museum of Modern Art and the Yale University Art Gallery.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art and Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University where she graduated cum laude (2007), a Masters Certificate in Art Crime and Cultural Heritage Protection from the Association for Research into Crimes Against Art (2012), and a Certificate of Restoration and Conservation from Lorenzo De’Medici Institute in Florence (2012).
Sasha’s interest in modern material stems from her experience as the director of a contemporary art gallery in Los Angeles from 2010-2015.
