VIDEO:

As part of the international conference on the preservation of modernity FUTURE TALKS 019, the designer Simone Farresin, one of the two protagonists of the studio Formafantasma, talks about the focus of their design work.
Andrea Trimarchi (* 1983) and Simone Farresin (* 1980) the founders of Studio Formafantasma are among the most innovative and unconventional designers of their time. This is less about producing valid, reproducible, and perfect design for the industry, and more about examining sociopolitical issues of our time with conceptual design tools.
The objects designed by the studio Formafantasma are of virtuos simplicity and stand for a new post-industrial aesthetic.
With their oeuvre, they ask questions and contextualize current topics such as u. migration, globalization, threatened cultural identities and sustainability.

This panel discussion was part of the FUTURE TALKS 019 conference
