Kate Moomaw trained in objects and modern art conservation at the Conservation Center of the Institute of fine Arts at New York University. She has completed a graduate internship at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam and postgraduate fellowships at the Tate in London, the Hirshorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington, DC, and the Sherman Fairchild Center for Objects Conservation at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Currently, she is Assistant Conservertor for Modern and Contemporary Art at the Denver Art Museum in Denver, Colorado.
