After finishing college 2004 I absolved two years internships at the metal conservation department at the Hamburg Museum and Bayerisches Nationalmuseum. Beginning 2007 my studies in conservation at the Technische Universität München, I got in touch with parylene coatings first in 2011 during an interdisciplinary study that was part of a research cluster called Forschungsallianz Kulturerbe. Among others the Fraunhofer Institute and Landesmuseum Stuttgart were involved. The results were so promising, that the diploma thesis continued the work. In 2015 I started my dissertation about parylene coatings, since 2016 I am head of treasury conservation of the Bayerische Schlösserverwaltung.
