Open Call for homemade design objects:
Everyone who has designed something can participate – with the exception of professional designers.

How can design contribute to society’s social and cultural development? Design objects always come about in a political context and their development is often motivated by socio-political goals.

The ten-month exhibition Friedrich von Borries. Design of Politics. Politics of Design (November 2018 – September 2019) analyzes these political aspects by twelve different interventions.

In the context of this exhibition Die Neue Sammlung is inviting amateur designers and DIY enthusiasts to bring their homemade objects to the museum. These objects will be part of one intervention after a public jury.

Register until September 8, 2018 by completing the application on our website!
