About the exhibition

The exhibition shows concepts and realized projects that already use circular processes in certain phases.

Why do we buy things we don’t need? Why do we neglect environmental aspects when designing, producing or consuming? How can we know what is best for the environment?

Are there definite answers or a strictly correct way to act? We invite you to contemplate these questions yourself and consider the impact your actions have on the future society, industry and economy.
We show realised and developing projects that already employ circular processes at particular stages. Closing the circle, however, requires a societal change. The economy won’t change unless every individual person changes the way they think about consuming and re-using. We have to reach a circular society, where everyone considers the consequences of their actions and acts accordingly.

CIRCOLUTION is the 8th „satellite“ in a program series that addresses the FUTURO and future visions in design, film, literature, music and performance.

The exhibition was developed by students of the Technical University of Munich (M.Sc. Industrial Design) and supported by the Hans Sauer Stiftung.
