With experience in product design and great passion for materials, Efrat Friedland founded materialscout, a consultancy that helps market leading companies generate value through creative, competitive and sustainable implementation of materials and technologies. Prior to that, she established and led the Material Technologies department at designaffairs, Munich, and was the initiator and founder of iMatter, Israel’s unique Materials Library.
By lecturing at various conferences worldwide, teaching and writing articles for professional magazines, she strives to bridge the gap between the materials industry and the world of design.
