Cécile THAZARD studied at the INP in Paris where she received her masters in conservation and restoration of furniture. Before that, she specialized in the manufacturing of synthetic materials with a two years Craftsmanship Diploma. Recently, she has focused on plastics restoration during two internships at the Getty Conservation Institute in Los Angeles and the C2RMF in Paris. By studying modern and traditional techniques, Cécile has accumulated a comprehensive understanding of the art of making furniture and plastic objects. She is currently working as a freelance, and leading a research on polyester and epoxy resins for the CNAP collection in Paris.
