Barbara Ferriani has worked as a conservator, specialized in the conservation of contemporary art, in Milan since 1983. As a founding member of INCCA Italy, together with Marina Pugliese, (co-author of the recently published book “Monumenti Effimeri – Storia e conservazione delle installazioni”), she is currently co-ordinating a research project on the preventative conservation of contemporary art installations. Since 2010 she has headed up the conservation laboratory at the Triennale Design Museum of Milan and lectures at the Università Cattolica in Milan and Ca’ Foscari University in Venice
