Two protagonists of the glass scene on Murano are facing each other in the exhibition: Ercole Barovier, coming from a glassmaker family, developed a powerful and strong stylistic vocabulary for Barovier & Toso, which attests to a great delight in experimentation in glass. For the laywer Paolo Venini glass was an outside subject area. However, he exceptionally managed to modernize the glass design on Murano through his entrepreneurial talent and artistic sensitiveness.
