About the Exhibition

The cars with the wild bull on the hood are surrounded by an aura of legend, as they rarely appear on the roads. Miura, Espada, Countach, Diablo, Murciélago… the vehicles from the brand founded by Ferruccio Lamborghini in 1963 in Sant’Agata Bolognese are among the great myths of design.

The exhibition takes place as a walk-in installation in the Schaudepot of the Neue Sammlung, where the clay model of a Murciélago has been on display since the opening of the Pinakothek der Moderne.
In addition to the cars, design processes such as the drawing of design sketches and the molding of a clay model are also presented. The installation reflects the design radicalism of Automobili Lamborghini, which is not only measured in horsepower and euros, and focuses on its emotional charisma and significance as a design object.
